Veteran Benefits Guide Donates $5,000 to Pin-Ups For Vets

The donation will provide rehabilitation equipment to the hospital that will benefit the Veterans they serve.

LAS VEGAS (March 07, 2024) – Veteran Benefits Guide (VBG), which helps guide Veterans across the U.S. to navigate the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) disability compensation benefits process, today announced a charitable donation of $5,000 to the award-winning nonprofit organization Pin-Ups For Vets, which is donating rehabilitation equipment and copies of its 2024 calendar to the North Las Vegas Veteran Affairs Medical Center.

Pin-Ups For Vets’ 14 volunteer ambassadors will distribute the organization’s 2024 calendars in their iconic 1940s-inspired outfits to hospitalized Veterans. The 18th edition of the annual calendar showcases 13 outstanding female Veterans with a combined 150 years of military service in the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force, and Coast Guard.

“Pin-Ups For Vets exemplifies the enduring spirit of service beyond the uniform,” said Lauren Smith, co-Founder of Veteran Benefits Guide. “VBG is proud to collaborate with Pin-Ups For Vets in supporting these brave women and men through their rehabilitation process. It is crucial that we honor their service as a constant reminder of their sacrifice.”

“We are deeply honored to join forces with Veteran Benefits Guide in our ongoing commitment to supporting our nation's Veterans,” said Gina Elise, founder and president of Pin-Ups For Vets. “Together, we make a meaningful difference in the lives of our heroes.”

Pin-Ups For Vets has contributed more than $100,000 to assist VA hospitals in acquiring new rehabilitation equipment nationwide. Additionally, the organization’s volunteer ambassadors have visited over 17,000 ill and injured Veterans on their 50-state Veterans Hospital Tour. The annual Pin-Ups For Vets calendar serves as a powerful awareness and fundraising tool to support these initiatives, which benefit ill and injured Veterans, homeless Veterans, deployed troops, and military spouses.
