Veteran Benefits Guide Announces Sponsorship of Professional Bull Riders Championship Events

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Las Vegas (October 18, 2023) – Veteran Benefits Guide (VBG), which helps Veterans across the U.S. navigate the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) disability compensation benefits process, today announced that it is teaming up with the Professional Bull Riders (PBR) to sponsor the organization’s Salute to Service experience during its upcoming Challengers Series Championship and Team Series Championship events taking place October 19 to 22 in Las Vegas.

PBR’s Challenger Series Championship will feature the Top 40 riders in the series’ standings. The Teams Championship will feature a tournament-style format with all teams competing in head-to-head games against a different opponent each day. Each game features five riders per team squaring off against another team, and rider-bull matchups are chosen by the team’s coaching staff. Following the five outs per team, the team with the highest aggregate score in each game is declared the winner.

As part of its sponsorship, VBG will host the following activities:

Salute to Service – During both championship events, VBG will sponsor the “Salute to Service” moment that recognizes a selected Veteran’s accomplishments from service or in civilian life, with a focus on the Veteran’s assistance to others, specifically others in the Veteran community.

Company Booth – On Thursday, October 19 at the Southpoint Casino Equestrian Arena and Friday, October 20 through Sunday, October 22 at T-Mobile Arena, VBG will have a company booth set up. Team members will be on hand to provide more information about VBG’s services that offer Veterans a guided, straightforward path to obtaining the VA disability benefits they have earned.

“We are proud to team up with PBR for these exciting events and to recognize the incredible commitment and service of all Veteran PBR fans in attendance,” said Josh Smith, CEO of Veteran Benefits Guide.

Headquartered in Las Vegas, with an additional office in San Diego, VBG’s workforce has grown to about 200 employees since the company was founded in 2015. VBG’s expertise has enabled the company to help 35,000 Veterans nationally receive an average increase in annual disability benefits of $13,000 -- benefits they likely would not have received without VBG’s support.
