FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Inclusion on Military Times’ annual ranking highlights the company’s commitment to promoting and supporting Veterans across the U.S.

Las Vegas (November 8, 2023) – Veteran Benefits Guide (VBG), which helps guide Veterans across the U.S. to navigate the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs’ (VA) disability compensation benefits process, today announced that it was recognized by Military Times as a top employer for Veterans as part of the 2023 Best for Vets: Employers ranking. VBG is ranked in the top 60 out of 230 companies nationwide, and #2 in Nevada.

The annual ranking by Military Times recognizes the country’s best employers and organizations with military-connected employment programs, benefits and support efforts. Rankings are comprised of survey results gathered from transitioning service members, veterans, and their families. The survey covered recruitment and practices, retention, and support programs available to Veterans. It also captured the areas of greatest importance to transitioning service members, veterans, and their families when looking for an employer. Recruitment and employment practices, as well as retention and support programs, were given the most weight and importance in scoring and final rankings.

“Military service is at the core of who VBG is and what we do. We are proud to be an organization that is made up of Veterans and extended members of the military and Veteran community who leverage their own unique experiences and passions to help other Veterans receive the full disability benefits they have earned,” said Josh Smith, CEO of Veteran Benefits Guide. “We are honored to be recognized for our commitment to celebrating and supporting transitioning service members and military Veterans.”

VBG’s services offer Veterans a guided, straightforward path to obtaining the VA disability benefits they have earned. Supporting military service members and the Veteran community is a top priority for our organization and we are honored to be recognized by Military Times. At VBG over 84 percent of the organization is comprised of veterans, or family members and spouses of Veterans.
